Shelf Crafters creates and sells shelving and related products, including made-to-order and customized items. We’re a small shop—some items are produced in small batches, and lead times may vary.

• Customer measurements matter. For made-to-order items, you’re responsible for confirming measurements, fit, and compatibility before ordering.
• Customization may limit returns. Items made to your specifications (custom sizes, custom options, or special requests) may not be eligible for “change of mind” returns, except where required by law.
• Product photos are representative. Wood grain, stain, and color can vary naturally from piece to piece. Lighting and screens also affect appearance.

• Prices are shown in the currency presented at checkout.
• Taxes (if applicable) are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.
• We may correct pricing or listing errors. If a correction affects your order, we’ll contact you with options (confirm, modify, or cancel).

Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout and may vary by location and product. Once your order is transferred to the carrier, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier.

• Address accuracy: Please double-check your shipping address. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, you may be responsible for reshipment costs.
• Risk of loss: Risk of loss transfers to you when the carrier accepts the shipment, except where otherwise required by law.
• Damaged shipments: If an item arrives damaged, keep the packaging and contact us promptly so we can help.

Our goal is simple: if we made a mistake, we’ll make it right.

• Our fault: If there is an issue due to our error (wrong item, defect, damage attributable to packaging/workmanship, etc.), we’ll offer an exchange or refund, and we’ll cover applicable return shipping.
• Customer-related issues: If the issue is due to incorrect measurements, ordering the wrong item, or a change of mind, you’re generally responsible for return shipping and any processing/restocking fees (if applicable). We’ll still try to help with replacement options when possible.
• Custom items: Made-to-order/customized products may have limited return eligibility. If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering.

We stand behind our craftsmanship. Unless stated otherwise, products are provided “as is” and “as available,” except where limited warranties apply under applicable law.

• Normal wear, misuse, improper installation, improper cleaning, or environmental factors (humidity/heat/water exposure) are not considered defects.
• If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, contact us with photos and order details so we can evaluate next steps.

• All website content (text, photos, branding, graphics) is owned by Shelf Crafters or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit our content without written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shelf Crafters is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or products, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of use, or delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond our control.

Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law.

We respect your privacy. Any collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy practices. If you have a dedicated Privacy Policy page, link it here.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where local consumer laws require otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
